The New Neighbors
Honky tonk music from Nevada County, California
Biography
This acoustic trio has been playing music together in loose formations for over a decade, but the New Neighbors were formed when Andy Lentz (fiddle, vocals) and Emily Triplett Lentz (guitar, upright bass, vocals) moved to Nevada City, and hangouts with Scotty Prawalsky (guitar, upright bass, vocals) turned into jam sessions. They've got some fun versions of country, bluegrass, and americana songs in store for you.
Two Step Sundays
Let's dance! The New Neighbors are bringing little bit of Austin, TX out to CA with a monthly two-step dancing night at The Fern in Nevada City. The evening kicks off with a dance lesson so you can learn or refresh your memory on how to two step, then practice your moves during two sets of live honky tonk music. Joe Carlson (guitar, pedal steel) and Tim Bulkley (drums) join the band to keep things moving, and you might see a special guest join the group from time to time.
Look for Two Step Sundays toward the end of each month. You can find the exact dates over here or on The Fern's website
The New Neighbors are available to play honky-tonks, bars, and restaurants, and we would love to jam at your winery, brewery, or music festival!
