SXSW is around the corner And I'm actually kinda busy this year!

I've lived in Austin for about two and a half years now and this will be my second time negotiating the SXSW madness to play some gigs.

I've lived in Austin for about two and a half years now and this will be my second time negotiating the SXSW madness to play some gigs. Many locals dread this festival due to how difficult it makes it to get around the city. Other people hate it because of all the corporate BS that comes with it. I, however, am pretty excited about it because I get to play lots of music!

The first year I lived in Austin, I was lucky enough to be on tour with Rita Hosking up in the Pacific NW. Last year, I only played a few shows, but this year I'm downright busy! Maybe not the busiest musician during this crazy week, but I still feel pretty good about it.

Here's what I'm up to! (You can find all the details on my events page, of course):

Fri 3/7 -- The Driskill w/ Silas Lowe, 9PM

Sunday 3/9 -- Threadgill's Gospel Brunch w/ The Sieker Band, 11AM-1PM, THEN Brooklyn Brewery's Countrification SXSW party at the Grackle w/ Silas Lowe, 2PM (we're on at 3PM)

Monday, 3/10 -- Flipnotics w/ The Bluegrass Outfit, 9PM (only three more weeks left before Flips closes!)

Tuesday, 3/11 -- The White Horse w/ Silas Lowe, 9PM

Friday, 3/14 -- The Trophy Club w/ Leah Nobel, 5PM, THEN The Rattle Inn w/ Devin Jake, 7:45PM

Saturday, 3/15 -- The White Horse w/ Silas Lowe, 5PM
