Back in Austin // New Year's Eve Shows in CA!

After touring with The Brothers Comatose and some California gigging with Rita Hosking & The West Nile Ramblers, I happily returned to Austin and have been re-settling in. I realized that, aside from a 3 day visit at the end of September, I'd been away from Austin for three (!!!) months. It feels really good to be stationary for a little while.

My girfriend, Emily, and I hosted a picking party at her house on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Lots of folks came over and it was great to get reacquainted with Austin musicians. Some busy local musicians came out, including Ben and Joe from The Austin Steamers, Brennen Leigh, Noel McKay, Jenn Miori of The Carper Family, and Silas Lowe. All of these folks are awesome musicians and people - please visit their websites, check out their music, and buy it if you like it!

I'll be playing some shows with The Brothers Comatose in the Bay Area while I'm back in California visiting my folks for Xmas. All of the shows will be the weekend before New Year's, (December 28-31), including New Year's Eve at Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz with friends and kick-ass band Miss Lonely Hearts. Check out the events page for more info on that run of shows!
